Oceanography, Fisheries and Aquaculture

Oceanography is the study of the ocean's physical, chemical, and biological characteristics, including its ancient history, current state, and future. Aquaculture, or fish farming, involves the cultivation of shellfish, fish, and seaweed in both freshwater and marine environments, either naturally or under controlled conditions. Fisheries focus on catching wild fish or raising and harvesting fish through aquaculture.
