Forestry is the science and practice of creating, managing, planting, utilizing, conserving, and restoring forests, woodlands, and related resources for the benefit of both humans and the environment. It is applied in both plantations and natural forests. Deforestation refers to the deliberate clearing of forested land. Endangered species are those at a very high risk of extinction in the wild.
