Biofuels, Biomass and Bioenergy

Biomass is a renewable energy source derived from plants and animals. Biofuels are energy sources produced from biological materials through modern biological processes. Bioenergy, a form of renewable energy, comes from recently living organic materials known as biomass, and can be used to generate transportation fuels, heat, electricity, and other products.
